How Game Research works

Daily, hand-picked MLB betting notes. Each game entry has the analyst's take plus one or more pick angles (a player, prop, line, and direction). Every angle is enriched with live context:

Lineup status

✓ In lineup means the player is in the official posted lineup (with batting-order spot). ~ Predicted is our projected spot before the card posts. Not in lineup yet means neither is available.

Opponent defense (Opp D)

Where the opponent ranks (of 30) in allowing that exact prop to clear the line in the pick's direction. #1–10 = soft matchup (opponent is generous — the card is tinted green); bottom 10 = tough. The per-game rate is shown alongside.

Opposing SP & Form

Opp SP is the opposing starter's season ERA / WHIP / K9. Hit rates show how often the player has cleared this exact line in the pick's direction — Season, last 5 games (L5), and last 10 games (L10). Confidence (lean / strong) reflects the analyst's conviction.

History & Performance tabs

The History tab lists every published pick with the player's actual stat and a graded result (win / loss / push; void when the player didn't play, pending until the game goes Final), filterable by date, result, confidence, and prop. The Performance tab rolls those grades up: win rate over the last 7 / 30 days and all-time, plus breakdowns by confidence, direction, prop, side, and day.
