How HRR Unders Works

What is this?

This system identifies batters likely to go under their Hits+Runs+RBIs prop line. It scans every batter with a prop available today and runs a series of checks to find unfavorable offensive conditions.

The checks

Each batter is evaluated against these criteria (inverted from overs):

Hit RateThe batter's historical under-hit rate for H+R+RBI must exceed the configured threshold
Min GamesThe batter must have enough games played this season for reliable data
Batting OrderThe batter must be in the bottom portion of the lineup (fewer plate appearances, less run support)
Pitcher WHIPThe opposing pitcher's WHIP must be low, indicating they suppress baserunners
Implied RunsThe batter's team must have low implied runs (from Vegas lines), signaling a low-scoring game
VenueThe game must be in a pitcher-friendly ballpark from the configured venue list
PlatoonThe batter has a platoon disadvantage (e.g. righty batter vs righty pitcher)
